User experience design expert and product leader with a decade of experience creating, enhancing, streamlining, and re-envisioning how users experience products and services. I’m passionate about applying systems and design thinking to complex business problems in order to improve application ecosystems through holistic, iterative design. Program Lead (UX) for Financial Center Tech | Bank of America
June 2022 - Present
Design lead leading work on all enterprise Financial Center technology group applications and cross-product efforts. Responsible for developing a service blueprint for Financial Center associates, owning the program roadmap, and defining cross-product workflow and interface patterning standards. Primary liaison between Enterprise XD, technology group leaders, application owners, and delivery leads. Coordinate and mentor a team of seasoned senior designers aligned to FCT.
Senior Product Analyst & Lead UX Designer | HCA, Inc.
November 2019 - October 2021
Partnered with the head of Engineering to design then support production of a new staffing portal. Defined user types and designed customized experiences for each. Led design thinking workshops, Adobe XD and Sketch/InVision trainings, and design system orientations to cross-functional teams. Regularly presented design prototypes to executive leadership, product team, and fellow designers. All projects were designed responsively and to WCAG 2.0 standards.
December 2018 - November 2019
Principal designer on a set of 26 feature enhancements to a proprietary nurse scheduling and staffing platform. Conducted user research and product analysis to build the business case/justification for a complete redesign of that platform. Worked with stakeholders to define business requirements (waterfall orientation), users to understand their needs and context of use, and engineers to define tech constraints. Designed qualitative research studies, user interview scripts, and usability tests, oversaw sessions then presented results and applied results to projects.

Organizational and product leader for a dynamic InsureTech startup. Led executive brainstorms and UX efforts, partnered with engineering to bring machine learning into the product roadmap, created conceptual prototypes for user and stakeholder testing, and validated iterative product decisions with data. Led a lean cross-functional Agile team in its weekly ceremonies.

Created low and high-fidelity front-end solutions for a wide range of clients after conducting research efforts bespoke to their needs. Research and design services included: user segmentation, competitive analysis, mapping user flows and customer journeys, service blueprinting, documenting information architecture, card sorting to improve sitemaps, heuristic evaluations of existing products, low-fidelity concept testing, A/B testing high-fidelity designs, and project documentation.

Led two design efforts over 9 months with this FinTech startup. First, I designed responsive web and native mobile application prototypes that integrated all consumer financial product offerings. Second, I coordinated requirements definition among stakeholders, then designed a financial literacy platform (gamified education software to teach users financial concepts) from concept to completion. This platform is still in use with local governmental agencies and non-profits in the Washington DC area.
